Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Work with Enterprise Marketing and Sales group to understand their business needs and document business requirements.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>In addition partner with relevant APMs, BPD and Service manager to respond and support customer issues.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Acquire some subject matter expertise from business customers and technical resources.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Develop familiarity of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Responsible for application, process and operations documentation.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Participates in preparing business requirements from which applications can be developed or modified.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists with engaging with the business customers on business processes and practices associated with the IT systems that implement, support or enable those processes and practices. Assist in collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems, and identifies opportunities for process improvement.


<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists in analyzing possible project engagements, documenting project scope (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, and resource requirements), prioritization, cost/benefit, potential risks, and feasibility.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists in the definition of work and project scope, objectives and business requirements and research for selection of potential solutions.


<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists in the production and review (from content to final draft) of user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Participate in the verification activities that ensure that solutions meet business requirements.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Activities may include assisting in development of functional test scripts.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Learning how to represent business processes, engaging customers appropriately in testing activities and developing an understanding of how to act on the customer.s behalf in early testing stages.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assist in ensuring traceability of requirements, translation of business and system requirements into functional and technical specifications.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Alerts team leadership when traceability appears weak, or is lost.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists with impact analysis when changes to the requirements occur.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Forge a network of beneficial relationships at appropriate levels within IT organizations and the customers of IT in order to establish mutual trust and provide a foundation for a high level project partnership.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Develops working relationships with internal groups.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Receive and interpret information and facilitate communication at appropriate levels between IT and its customers by contributing to the preparation of documentation and presentations and participating in meetings.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Acquire fundamental skills to facilitate, influence, negotiate, and mediate discussions in order to achieve business goals and objectives.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Acquire an understanding of the key business objectives and processes of IT.s customer, specifically how those objectives relate to the business.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Assists in ensuring SOX and other compliance standards are met, and may participate in development of controls.

<![if !supportLists]>·         <![endif]>Provide second-level support for issues relating to business applications and processes through issue resolution. Participate in team interactions with third parties including application service providers and partners.

Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required




2-4 years in business or IT analysis support positions

Strong Analytical skills, Strong Written and Verbal communication skills
